Turn Key design builders of residential additions and major renovations

Since 1981.

There are many advantages to dealing with Partex over other design/builders, the most important is our dedication to working with you to establish a budget that will meet your needs, design to that budget and build to that same budget. You will know exactly what your project will cost, right at the beginning of the process and before your permit is applied for and long before we begin construction.

Our services includes: conceptual design and budget, zoning variances (Committee of Adjustment), engineering, final design, building permits and all of the actual construction. This includes design for kitchens, bathrooms, lighting, landscaping, etc. A true turn-key service.

A few of our design mantras:

Master planning; Lets plan for your needs now and five years (or longer) from now. You may have the need to plan the work over multiple phases.

Intelligent design services, working directly with Andrew Parker, the owner and operator.

We encourage largely maintenance-free design, materials and finishes

Generally, we have no call backs to address deficiencies. We do our best to do everything the right way the first time.

1. We provide all of the expertise you will require for your project .

2. You only will be dealing with one point of contact throughout, myself, Andrew Parker

3. Transparency and cost controls

ParTex utilizes an Excel spreadsheet from day 1 to track projected and actual costs throughout your entire project lifespan, and share it with our clients on a regular basis.

Most clients will have a larger wish list than they wish to pay for. This is a normal part of the process for everyone, including ourselves when my wife and I renovated our home two years ago. Utilizing transparency and our spreadsheet you will be fully informed of all of the projected costs before committing to one particular design. This means you, as the client, retain complete control of the extent of the design and cost of the entire project, right down to the hardware and finishes. Once a realistic budget has been set, it is now our job to design a project to your taste and build it to budget. These are the main reasons we enjoy a five star rating for client satisfaction and are ranked amongst the very best GTA builders.

3. Experience

Andrew Parker and ParTex Design Build have over 43 years of experience with additions, major renovations and commercial interiors in the larger GTA. We have managed projects in excess of $3.75 million dollars, most of which were of very high caliber for exacting clients. Besides residential, we have managed many other projects; hospitals, universities, restaurants, bars, hotels, museums, exhibits and displays, movie sets, airport lounges and more. Andrew Parker is a master carpenter and a third generation Ontario builder. Please see attached for a notice from 1964, announcing Andrew’s father, Tom Parker, joining his grandfather’s firm of Par-Tex Engineering and Contracting Company Ltd. Par-Tex was founded by Andrew’s grandfather in 1928. This is the business he grew up in before forming his own in 1981. Andrew learned his trade as a master carpenter and renovator working with top notch firms such as Glover Walmer, Walder and McSweeney, Kellner-Jordan and Sorenson Custom Homes.

Please call or write to arrange a Zoom or telephone call so we may discuss your project in more detail.
