Ecohome is a trusted, award-winning resource for sustainable home construction and renovation. With humble beginnings that date back to 2011, the site was developed under the guidance of Co-Founder / Editor-in-Chief Mike Reynolds, and Co-Founder / Web Designer Yanni Milon, pictured above in front of the 6 x 8 foot original Ecohome head office in Mike's yard.
Now we’ve grown into a dedicated team which includes engineers, environmentalists, building experts, writers, and digital innovators. All of us are working to make green building simple, accessible, and rewarding for homeowners and professionals.
By sharing the knowledge we've gained during our former years as hands-on green home builders, we believe Ecohome can help steer construction practices towards more sustainable and resilient practices that are ready for a more challenging climate in the future.

In 2024, Ecohome was acquired by Raiiz Innovations Inc., a forward-thinking company dedicated to climate-smart living and sustainable tech. The acquisitions by Raiiz Innovations Inc in 2024 also included the intellectual property developed by Syseco Networks Inc. and B Capital Corporation: the powerful, AI-optimized Syseco UGC Publishing Platform.
This platform is the engine behind ecohome.net, ecohogar.net, and the Quebec non-profit Écohabitation, allowing our content to remain discoverable, accurate, and impactful across markets and languages.
